TEACH OUD continuing education courses focus on the treatment of opioid use disorder and are ACCME accredited, therefore these credits can be counted towards the DEA’s one-time, 8-hour training requirement for continuing education focused on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders (please view the official letter to DEA-registered practitioners for more details). TEACH OUD continuing education courses also meet the Texas Medical Board criteria for formal continuing medical education involving the study of medical ethics and/or professional responsibility.
